Customer Review

Year 2011, I decided to look for a fantastic griller to replace my old griller. When I found this Char-Broil 463722311 Model on one of the online stores with an affordable rate of $94, I bought it right away. This grill is made of solid gas grill. The basic gas grill was already assembled and I only need to assemble the frame. I got it assembled in less than an hour for the manual is well-illustrated. The steel pieces are porcelain-coated making them easy to clean.

I have been using the Grill for two months. I made use of the three burners alternately. I had grilled steaks, chicken and burgers. I find it easy to use for the thermometer helps me a lot especially when I need a higher or lower heat to cook my dish. The cooking surface is also quite larger and that I can grill meat away from the direct flame. I could say that this grill is perfect if not only to the slight flaws it has.

The structure of this griller makes me doubt its durability. The frame of the firebox seems to be insufficient that it might easily collapse on the right side. I think a triangular brace would be a great help to prevent any collapse. I am just wondering if the three wires used to exclude the propane tank from the firebox could have been made into that triangular frame. To make the frame more durable, I added a piece of steel. Though it does not look good but it is functional.

I also found bends in the steel pieces of this grill. The worst one was in the upper firebox shell. It looked that a force was acted upon the firebox shell. It even damaged its porcelain coating. The control panel was also scuffed in the right corner and there was a slight damage on the paint. I am just wondering how the damage happened for the outer package showed no signs of damage. It was so finely packed when it was delivered to me. It made me think that the damage might have occurred prior to the packaging and that the Char-Broil company had packed a slightly damaged griller for me.
